What is PDQpons?
PDQpons is a service that allows merchants to offer their customers coupons, promotions, and reminders. You can save money, be notified of cool happenings around town, and get reminders for your doctor's appointments, oil changes, etc...- all sent directly to your mobile phone! You are also able to print coupons out from our website.
How do I receive and redeem coupons?
Each merchant has their own special keyword, that when sent to PDQpons short code (69302) generates a text coupon to be sent to your mobile phone. For example, say Pizza Giant's keyword is PIZZA. You text PIZZA to 69302, and will receive their coupon back immediately via text. Something like "Receive $10 off a large pizza." Then just tell the merchant you have a PDQpon, and show them the mobile coupon on your phone to receive your discount- kind of like handing over a printed coupon. How simple is that? No fumbling through the newspaper, no scissors, no remembering to put a clipped coupon in your purse or pocket. And speaking of paper coupons, you can also print them directly from our website if you prefer.
How do I find keywords to get coupons?
Keywords can be found in a lot of different ways. You can search our website for merchants in your area. Join our regional Facebook and Twitter pages to receive announcements of new merchants. Also, many merchants post their keywords at their place of business or utilize them in other forms of advertising such as print, radio, or TV.
What are PDQdeals?
PDQdeals are the ULTIMATE way to save you money! First, sign up with PDQdeals for your specific region. Next, PDQpons works with our merchants in that area to offer you the biggest, the best, the most unbeatable deals imaginable. Deals that are offered NO WHERE ELSE. When we can get one of these unbelievable deals together, we'll either email or text you the information. Many deals are limited time offers, so make sure you keep an eye out! You will never receive notification of more than one PDQdeal per day. We want to save you money, not annoy the heck out of you!
How do I get mobile promotions and reminders from merchants?
When you text a merchant's keyword to our short code, you are opted in to that specific merchant's database. This allows the merchant to send texts to your phone about special offers, discounts, events, new shipments, appointment reminders, etc... We train our merchants in mobile "best practices" to insure that they are not flooding you constantly with texts. We recommend no more than one promotion or reminder per week. And you can always opt out of a merchant's database by texting STOP to 69302. With PDQpons, YOU are in complete control of what you want to receive on your phone.
Do I need a special phone, mobile internet, or app to receive information from PDQpon merchants?
Nope. As long as you can send and receive texts on your phone, you're good to go!
This all sounds great, but how much does it cost?
Zip. Nothing. Nada. FREE! The only charge you may incur is from your carrier for sending/receiving texts, but most of you probably have unlimited text messaging plans anyway.
I don't see my city on PDQpons. How can I get local deals?
PDQpons is expanding constantly to new cities. To find out when your city is added, you can join our Facebook or Twitter pages, or join PDQdeals and choose "My city isn't available yet".
What about Spam?
That's the beauty of mobile marketing. Unlike email, YOU are in complete control of who you receive mobile messages from! If you ever decide you want to stop receiving coupons, promotions, or reminders from a particular merchant, it's as easy as texting STOP to 69302. You will immediately be removed from that merchant's database and will stop receiving deals from them. Don't you wish email had that option?!
Do you share my information with anyone?
Your information can only be seen by PDQpons and any particular merchant that you sign up for. PDQpons never shares your information with merchants you have not requested information from or with anyone else.
